Well, we’ve only gone and done it! My football (soccer) team Watford FC have reached the FA Cup Final for only the second time in our history (1984 being the other, when we lost to Everton). I have supported the ‘Hornets’ since my Dad took me to a game aged 4 in 1967 and days like this are few and far between for our football club. As I now live up in Scotland I don’t get to see many live games these days (Watford is in Hertfordshire, near London) so it will be difficult for me to get a ticket for the final – but I will see what I can do! Even if you have never heard of our club you will certainly have heard of our former Chairman and our most high profile supporter – Elton John. He has a stand named after him at the ground and the lyrics to one of his hits – Your Song – are written along the back walls. Manchester City will be our opponents in the decider at Wembley Stadium, where my grandfather used to take me almost every week as a boy to watch greyhound racing!
Well, it has been another busy week on the internet marketing front. I have been continuing my training in John Thornhill’s Partnership To Success Programme and have now moved into the first phase of planning for my first product launch. I have actually also found the time to work through a great little course by Eric Cagi called The Secret Weapon and have been really impressed by the results, getting $28 in sales in the first 24 hours. I have also added over 50 more on to my list already with his method, really impressive results.
My favourite release this week so far is probably Art Flair’s Traffic Trapper 2.0. Pinterest is a really underused social media site by internet marketers and that is partly because most do not really understand it. For a start it has an 80% female audience and also it has a much higher average first time purchase spend, around 50 dollars, than all the other social sites. I would recommend you check Art’s product out.
If you are looking for a good Private Label Rights (PLR) release this week, then I would suggest taking a look at Google My Business 2.0, which is a really nicely put together little release.
Well, that’s about it for this week, except to say (or rather sing) ‘We’re The Famous Watford FC and we’re going to Wem-ber-ley. Wem-ber-ley, Wem-ber-ley…..’
